We've shared life together for over 22 years, and if there's one thing we've learnt, it's that the little moments become the memories you treasure most.
When we got married in Cuba, we were young, in love and like many couples starting out, every penny counted. We chose our dream beach ceremony, just the two of us far away over a big wedding and convinced ourselves that professional photography and videography simply weren't worth stretching our budget for.
At the time, it felt like the sensible decision.
Looking back, it's one of our biggest regrets.
The flowers lasted a day. The meal was over in a few hours. But the memories are something we wish we'd invested in properly.
We have a handful of photographs and some old camcorder footage taken by befriended tipsy waiter, but they never truly captured how that day felt - the excitement, the nerves, the laughter and all the little moments that disappeared far too quickly.
A few years ago, our friend Harvey from Meros Productions gave us one of the greatest gifts we could have asked for.
He filmed beautiful new footage for us and somehow combined it with a few unwatchable clips from our old wedding camcorder, transforming them into a film we'll treasure forever, along with two beautiful short edits celebrating our wedding in Cuba and the family we've built since.
Watching that film changed everything.
It reminded us that wedding photography and videography aren't just another item on a checklist.
They're the one part of your wedding that grows more valuable with time. Long after the flowers have faded and the cake has been eaten, your photographs and films become the way you relive one of the most important days of your life.
